Overview
The primary objective of our Network Assessment Services offering is to provide clarity and vision to the health, configuration, application performance, and traffic flow for a client’s network. Many enterprises have grown and added technology and applications without a clear understanding of the full impact of any changes and how those changes affect overall performance. Our Network Assessment Services provides an unbiased, vendor independent view into your network.
An independent network assessment for today’s converged network will provide unparalleled visibility into whatever network element or combination of elements are being assessed. We use cloud-based technology in conjunction with small probes placed strategically to gather the required information with minimal interruption to the customer’s operation. Our staff then analyzes the data and produces and delivers executive level reports on a per assessment basis. An optional solution for customers is the Managed Services Offering, in which a 12, 24, or 36-month contract is signed to leave the appropriate probes and licenses in place for constant visibility and reporting at an attractive rate structure. Included in this is online customer access to the data being collected, as well as historical and current reports.
Network Performance Management
Our Network Assessment Services offers the only NPM service to provide insight from every element of the network performance stack – path, packet, flow, and device…plus visibility into end user experience, like Quality of Service (QoS) and application performance. If an optional managed services agreement is established, it can also provide ongoing application delivery with automatic notification when your network performance impacts application-specific SLAs.
Network Health and Performance Monitoring
Utilizing our service, useful analytics are provided in several areas: (1) validation of SLA delivery for bandwidth, QoS, jitter, loss, and latency; (2) integrated SNMP device monitoring for full performance; (3) pinpoint performance in any IP network; and (4) real-time view of actual WAN performance into WAN services such as remote offices, hosted services, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) providers, and cloud- based services. If there is poor performance for an existing site or application, the tool automatically determines the network route being used and determines the source of the issue(s).
CLOUD-BASED NETWORK PERFORMANCE

Application Performance Across the Web
This component of our service offers an integrated view of the end-user experience, bringing together detailed network performance and application performance in a single dashboard view. The tool uses synthetic transactions to simulate the same actions as real users which allow you to seamlessly follow end-user transactions from the browser down to the lines of code. Another capability is understanding the custom performance of your specific locations and users to assure consistent and predictable web application performance. In addition, by having a real browser running from our appliance and virtual machines in our global datacenters, we can more accurately follow scripts of real user transactions. The scripts follow links, redirects, etc, and can be built to incorporate up to 20 milestones for following meaningful usage scenarios across applications. If the appliance were left in the network for continuous monitoring, all of the actual web traffic is analyzed for response and performance. All-in-all, we provide continuous visibility into end-user experience of business critical web apps from all points in the network.

Network Utilization and Insight
This capability and associated reporting allows you to analyze all network traffic and classify it into easy- to-understand categories with the granularity to discern if web traffic is business verses recreational and the amount of resources that are being consumed by traffic type. It also allows the client to easily identify the devices and users consuming bandwidth, including BYOD (bring your own device) users. In addition, you can identify the applications in use with visibility into the QoS total bandwidth used by each queue and each user consuming that bandwidth.
